On December 26-28, 2021, the first round of tests was held to determine the monthly increase in the base salary of foreign language teachers.

The tests were conducted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Indian, Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Pashto.

Out of the 10,420 foreign language teachers scheduled to attend, 8,388 participated. A total of 2,032 applicants did not appear for the test, while 48 were excluded from the test for violating the rules.

For those who successfully pass the first stage of the test, the speaking skills exams will be held in January-February 2022.
