Optimization of testing procedures is in progress

04-02-2020 | 5342

It is planned to optimize admission tests by implementing innovative methods and international experience, cutting costs for exams, and releasing graduate students and applicants from similar, repetitive exams.

The essence of the proposal is to establish a procedure for direct admission to the university on the basis of graduation exams results. To do this, the state exams for undergraduate education in public higher education institutions are combined with graduation exams based on the international experience, such as the Russian Federation (EGE), the United States of America (SAT), and the UK (GCSE). As a result, significant state budget expenditures will be reduced, double exams on the same subjects will be eliminated, and a modern, convenient way to enroll in higher education institutions will be established.

Proposals on the issue are currently being developed and submitted for expert analysis.
