It is well known that national certification exams in foreign languages have been conducted by the Knowledge Assessment Agency based on the Resolution No. 73 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, dated February 16, 2022, “On the Approval of the Administrative Regulation for the Provision of Public Services to Determine the Level of Foreign Language Proficiency.” Recently, baseless reports have been circulating on social media, alleging that foreign language certificates issued by the Agency are being sold or provided through personal connections.

The Knowledge Assessment Agency firmly reiterates its commitment to principles of impartiality, fairness, and transparency in the administration of certification exams and the issuance of certificates. The Agency emphasizes its zero-tolerance policy toward any forms of corruption and assures the public of its openness in its communications.

Furthermore, the listening and reading sections of the foreign language proficiency assessment are fully automated and checked without human involvement. The answers for the writing and speaking sections are evaluated remotely via an electronic platform, with examiners being randomly selected. This process significantly minimizes human influence in the evaluation process.

All stages of the Agency's activities, including the exams and their results, are open to the public and subject to appropriate oversight.

If any instances of corruption are observed during the exams organized by the Agency, or if applicants or their parents witness such cases, they are urged to report them to the Agency's hotline or law enforcement authorities. The Knowledge Assessment Agency reaffirms its commitment to impartiality, fairness, and transparency in the administration of exams.

At the same time, we remind the public not to disseminate unverified information through social media, as this may lead to legal accountability.
