Talented school graduates awarded gold and silver medals will not be exempt from admission tests to higher education.

According to the Regulation "On the procedure for awarding gold and silver medals to talented graduates of general secondary education and academic lyceums" approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 22, 2019 No 154, gold and silver medals do not give privileges in admission to higher education.

Gold and silver medals will be awarded to graduates with excellent grades, exemplary behavior and active social activity.

The aim is to increase students' interest in education, to create healthy competition among them, to prevent corruption and to stimulate the knowledge of gifted students.
