On 7 February, 2020, a seminar was held at State Test Center to discuss the the structure and content of national certification system on mother tongue.

The meeting was attended by specailists from State Test Center, Republican Educational Center, Tashkent State University of Uzbek language and literature, National University of Uzbekistan, Tashkent State Pedagogical University, University of Journalism and Mass Media of Uzbekistan, and Uzbekistan State World Languages University.

The meeting discussed the structure and content of the test system on mother tongue (Uzbek, Russian and Karakalpak) and literature based on foreign expertise of the USA (SAT), Great Britain (GCSE) and Russia (EGE). The participants gave their feedback and suggestions on this issue.
