At the board meeting, important issues were discussed

On June 28, 2022, a regular meeting of the Board of the State Test Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. It was attended by members of the board and heads of 6 regional departments, which included issues.

The meeting reviewed the work done to improve the system of admission of applicants to higher education institutions through tests. The state of readiness and the state of the executive discipline of the Fergana, Namangan, Andijan, Surkhandarya, Kashkadarya and Tashkent regions of the State Test Center were studied. During the 2nd quarter of 2022, issues on the agenda were studied, such as the effectiveness of work with appeals of individuals and legal entities. The issues of analysis and pace of work, special attention to young people conducting research, and scientific advice were discussed.

Reports of department heads were heard during the meeting. It was also noted that a high level of preparation for the entrance exams to the bachelor's degree in higher education and the need to ensure transparency in the conduct of tests. The use of modern, fair, and objective forms and methods during examinations should be widely promoted. It was noted that this year's exams should be completed in a timely manner, with high quality, and create favourable conditions for applicants and their parents. There was a need to improve executive discipline, efficiency, and accountability in the provincial departments. Appropriate tasks have been set for timely and prompt consideration of appeals and for resolution of issues raised in them.

At the end of the meeting, in line with the reforms being carried out by the head of state and the government in this area, productivity will be constantly increased in terms of speed and quality. The tasks assigned to the state testing centre will be provided at the level of today's modern requirements. Important decisions have been made on public opinion polls and the widespread use of modern technologies.
