On January 28, 2020, the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent started the test of military privilege for the servicemen finishing their service.

Testing is based on the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan № PP-1765 and the Regulation registered by the Ministry of Justice number 2914.

Please note that applicants who have military privileges receive an additional 50% of the points earned in the admission test for higher military educational institutions. In contrast, applicants with a military recommendation will be selected on a quota basis if they wish to enroll in non-military higher education institutions. If the points earned are not enough to  be recommended on the basis of this quota, they will participate in the general competition with other (non-privileged) students.
