On May 24, 2021, a written test (listening comprehension, reading, lexical and grammatical competencies, writing) was held to determine the level of knowledge and mastery of a foreign language.

Candidates who took part in the written part of the test were taken a speaking test on June 1-2.

The exams were conducted online in all regions through a program specially developed by the State Test Center.

It was attended by 637 applicants in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Pashto.

Qualified specialists from the most prestigious higher education institutions and non-governmental organizations of the country were involved to assess the speaking skills of the candidates.
